It's a....

BOY!!! He was definitely not shy!! I will post pictures later, after Steve comes home from Bible Study - he is showing them off. It was an absolutely amazing appointment!! Steve went with me - we went in at 8:00, the u/s tech asked if we wanted to know boy/girl and we said yes. As soon as she put the wand on my belly, it was a between the legs shot. ALL BOY!! And he kept showing us the goods... But he didn't want to show his face. He was on the u/s screen for a half hour. Everything measured great! Head, femur, etc. were right on. He was in the 42nd percentile weight-wise at 12 oz., 2 days behind, but I'm not concerned. He moved around so much!! It was amazing! Steve thought it was pretty cool - and he is absolutely thrilled with a boy! My gut instinct was boy from the moment I got the positive test. But I was hoping for a girl. BUT I am over-the-moon happy and so excited!! The u/s tech really pushed on my belly trying to get a good profile shot - OUCH! Baby kept putting his hands by his face. He did not want to give us a good look at his face. We had a quick Skeletor glimpse, but not great profile pics... But some really cool ones of his foot and leg and arm. And the "goods" of course! He was turning every which way! She said he is incredibly active!! He had the hiccups the whole time and we saw him opening and closing his mouth to drink. It was the most amazing experience! My best friend from high school has triplet boys and is going to give me all the boxes of clothes she has kept! We should be pretty good on clothes!! I can't wait to get it and go through it and do the nursery. Still no boy names yet - the closest we've come is Nathaniel - but that is SOOO long!!
