Long weekend

I am so thrilled to have a long weekend. Steve is going to Myrtle Beach with the senior class and I am going to my parents' house to watch my brother in the "Tough Trucks" competition on Sunday. I haven't been there since Christmas - and not since they started packing things up! In 3 months they will be out here permanently!! I will be taking all 5 dogs - I'm really hoping they don't need to stop to go potty! It's a 3 1/2 - 4 hour trip... Usually we make it the whole way home. But it's been a long time since we have made the trip. Should be interesting...

I had another OB appt yesterday. Dr. had an emergency in Labor and Delivery, so she was over an hour late - and then was in and out with me. I have gained 6 pounds since last time (3 weeks ago) but only 5 pounds over all, so that's not too bad. She wasn't upset with it. Baby's heart sounded good, she measured my belly and said that everything was measuring perfect. I go back in a little over a week and a half for my ultrasound! And Steve took a half day off as well, so he is going too!

Yesterday I had a 5th grader tell me that my belly is showing (just that you can tell I'm pregnant, not that it was out of my shirt). I laughed and said, just a little. She asked if I knew if it's a boy or girl and I told her not til after school is out. I asked her what she thought and she said boy. I said oh man and she said what - boys are easier to potty train! LOL! So cute. I am going to miss this one when she goes to the middle school next year.
