Wind Day

Not a snow day, but a wind day. The wind is horrible today! Gusts over 50mph. Brrr!! I guess there are trees down on the roads. So, we're off today. Which means another day less of Easter break. I'm bummed. But, I guess that's life. At least we aren't adding days to the end of the year. My mom was worried when she didn't hear from me this morning (I call on my way to school every morning), so she called the school at 7:50 to find out if I made it ok. Our custodian informed her that there was no school. Yes, I am 27 and my mom still checks up on me... She was worried that I fell and Steve had already left. Note to self... call Mom at 5:15 when the phone call comes in to say school is cancelled...

I made waffles for breakfast. I really wanted strawberries on top - but I don't have any. So, I just dipped it in syrup. I don't really like breakfast food, but for some reason I woke up wanting to make waffles. So I did.

I am irritated with Steve, but I'll get over it. He informed me last night that he is to go into school early on Wednesday mornings for the football players to lift. First of all, it's only MARCH and football season doesn't start until AUGUST! Really? I mean, these are kids, not pros! But what really makes me mad about it, is he can't get up when the alarm goes off to let the dogs out. I do it on my own. He doesn't get out of bed til I'm in the shower. But he is going to leave the house by 6:30??? to go to football??? I see his priorities. I told him that the dogs are his sole responsibility on Wednesdays and I will not be getting out of bed until he leaves. So there.

11 days til my first appt... and the hormones have gone crazy...
